One of the most affordable, yet high-quality, full pro piccolos with wood body and silver mechanism. Gemeinhardts are known as the "war horses" of the flute/piccolo world and hold up very well. These piccolos produce a warm, colorful classic sound.

This piccolo is excellent for the seasoned piccolo player, built with a slightly smaller embouchure hole for an ultra-crisp sound with stunning warmth and color.

Wood is generally preferred over composite and metal piccolos for their tonal characteristics. Wood is much less piercing in the high range as compared to their counterparts and gives the player much more expressive capability. (wooden instruments should be used indoor only.
